Trucks are one of the more difficult vehicles to transition to full electric due to their size and functional purpose. Hauling anything requires significant horsepower and fuel consumption, and the limited battery life available just a short handful of years ago made it difficult to develop a truck that could get through a full day of work on a single charge.
Recent advances in battery technology have begun to change that. Within the past couple years, there have been multiple EV trucks developed that meet the power and resilience needs of contractors and other professionals who require workman-like performance from their trucks.
